Description

This Açaí Bowl is a thick, creamy, and nutrient-packed breakfast made with blended frozen açaí berries and topped with fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and wholesome add-ins. Naturally vibrant and refreshing, this Açaí Bowl is perfect for busy mornings, post-workout fuel, or a healthy snack that feels indulgent yet nourishing.

Ingredients

  • For the Base:
  • 2 frozen açaí packets

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Toppings:

  • 1/4 cup granola

  • Fresh banana slices

  • Fresh strawberries or blueberries

  • Shredded coconut

  • Chia seeds

  • Nut butter drizzle

Instructions

  1. Soften the Açaí:
Run the frozen açaí packets under warm water for a few seconds to slightly soften.

  2. Blend the Base:
In a high-speed blender, combine frozen açaí, frozen banana, frozen berries, and almond milk. Blend until thick and smooth. Add only a small splash of milk if needed to keep the mixture thick and spoonable.

  3. Adjust Sweetness:
Taste and add honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend briefly to combine.

  4. Assemble the Bowl:
Spoon the mixture into a bowl and smooth the top with the back of a spoon.

  5. Add Toppings:
Arrange granola, fresh fruit, coconut, chia seeds, and nut butter over the top. Serve immediately for best texture.

Notes

  • Use fully frozen fruit for the thickest consistency.A high-powered blender works best for achieving a smooth texture. To make it vegan, use maple syrup instead of honey. For added protein, blend in Greek yogurt or a scoop of protein powder.Avoid adding too much liquid, as this can make the bowl thin.
