Description

Air Fryer Candied Pecans are a sweet, crunchy snack made with simple ingredients like sugar, cinnamon, and pecans. Ready in under 15 minutes, they’re perfect for holiday gifting, snacking, or topping salads and desserts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray (optional, for air fryer basket)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white and water until frothy.
  2. Add the pecans to the egg white mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the pecans and toss until fully coated.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray if desired.
  6. Place the coated pecans in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Remove and spread the pecans on parchment paper to cool and harden.
  9. Store or serve once fully cooled.
