Ingredients
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray (optional, for air fryer basket)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg white and water until frothy.
- Add the pecans to the egg white mixture and stir to coat evenly.
- In a separate bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the pecans and toss until fully coated.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray if desired.
- Place the coated pecans in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove and spread the pecans on parchment paper to cool and harden.
- Store or serve once fully cooled.
