Description
Air Fryer Lobster Tails provide a quick, easy, and flavorful way to enjoy this luxurious seafood. With a tender, juicy interior and a slightly crispy exterior, this method creates a restaurant-quality dish without the hassle of boiling or grilling.
Ingredients
-
4 lobster tails (about 4-6 oz each)
-
2 tablespoons butter, melted
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
-
Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
-
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
-
Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of the lobster shell, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull apart the shell, exposing the lobster meat. Lift the lobster meat out and rest it on top of the shell, keeping the tail attached at the end.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
-
Brush the lobster meat with the butter mixture, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
-
Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
-
Air fry the lobster tails for 6-8 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
-
Remove the lobster tails from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Add seasoning: Try Old Bay, Italian seasoning, or chili powder for different flavor profiles.Lemon butter: For an extra zesty flavor, melt butter with fresh lemon juice and zest.Garlic butter: For a rich, indulgent twist, use garlic butter instead of plain melted butter.Cheese: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on the lobster during the last minute of cooking for a golden finish.Storage/Reheating:Store leftover lobster tails in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.To reheat, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 3-4 minutes, or microwave for 1-2 minutes. The air fryer method preserves the crispy texture better.
