Air Fryer Zucchini Fries are a crispy, golden, and healthier alternative to French fries. Coated in seasoned breadcrumbs and air fried with minimal oil, they’re light, crunchy, and perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 medium fresh zucchini
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Cut zucchini into fry-sized sticks (about 1/2-inch thick).
- Set up three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third.
- Dredge zucchini sticks in flour, dip into eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket, spraying lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Use almond flour and gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free version.Add cayenne pepper or chili flakes for a spicy kick.Extra Parmesan or mozzarella makes them cheesier.For oven-baked fries, cook at 425°F for 20–25 minutes.Best served fresh—avoid freezing as they lose crispiness.
