Description
Apple cider vinegar gummies are a delicious and convenient way to enjoy the health benefits of ACV without the strong taste. Made with fruit juice, natural sweetener, and a plant-based thickener, they support digestion and overall wellness in a chewy, portable form.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (with the ‘mother’)
- 1 cup fruit juice (apple, cherry, or pomegranate)
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup
- 2 tbsp agar agar powder (or gelatin for non-vegan)
- Optional: 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Optional: 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon or turmeric
Instructions
- In a saucepan over low-medium heat, combine the fruit juice, water, and apple cider vinegar. Stir gently.
- Add maple syrup or agave syrup, and any optional ingredients like lemon juice, cinnamon, or turmeric. Mix well.
- Slowly whisk in agar agar powder (or gelatin) until fully dissolved.
- Continue stirring and heating for 3–5 minutes until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and carefully pour the mixture into silicone gummy molds using a spoon or dropper.
- Transfer the molds to the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 1 hour until set.
- Once firm, remove gummies from molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
Use agar agar for a vegan version and gelatin for a non-vegan option.Customize the flavor with different juices or spices like ginger and turmeric.Do not freeze the gummies, as this may affect their texture.If you don’t have molds, pour into a shallow dish and cut into cubes once set.Store refrigerated and consume within 2 weeks for best freshness.
