Apple Pie Quesadillas are a quick and cozy dessert that blends the cinnamon-sweet flavors of classic apple pie with the crispy texture of a quesadilla. This easy treat is perfect for spontaneous cravings or weeknight indulgence.
Ingredients
- 4 flour tortillas
- 1 cup apple pie filling (canned or homemade)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter (for cooking)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a small amount of butter.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and spread about 1/4 cup of apple pie filling over half of it. Sprinkle with a pinch of ground cinnamon.
- Fold the tortilla over to form a half-moon shape.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy, and the filling is heated through.
- Remove from skillet and repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
- Optional: Brush the outside of the cooked quesadillas with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar and cinnamon for extra flavor.
- Slice into wedges and serve warm. Top with whipped cream, caramel sauce, or vanilla ice cream if desired.
