Description

Banana Caramel Cream Dessert is a no-bake, layered dessert featuring ripe bananas, rich caramel sauce, fluffy whipped cream, and a buttery graham cracker or cookie crust. It’s quick to prepare, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 34 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 4 oz cream cheese or 1 cup vanilla pudding (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs or crushed cookies
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (if making whipped cream from scratch)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional, for salted caramel variation)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs or crushed cookies with melted butter. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture into the base of a serving dish or individual dessert cups to form the crust. Chill for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Slice bananas and set aside.
  4. If using cream cheese or pudding, beat with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Layer crust with a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  6. Add banana slices evenly over the caramel layer.
  7. Spread or pipe whipped cream (or cream cheese mixture) over the bananas.
  8. Repeat layers if desired: caramel, bananas, cream.
  9. Top with a final drizzle of caramel and a sprinkle of sea salt if using.
  10. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Use lemon juice to lightly coat banana slices to prevent browning. For a richer dessert, use dulce de leche instead of caramel.Assemble in small cups or jars for individual servings.Best enjoyed within 1–2 days for optimal texture and freshness. Not suitable for freezing due to bananas and cream texture.
