Banana pudding no bake dessert is a creamy, layered Southern classic made with pudding, bananas, whipped topping, and cookies. It’s fuss-free, no-bake, and perfect for gatherings or holidays.
Ingredients
- 2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4 cups cold milk
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip or similar)
- 6–7 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers or graham crackers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened.
- Stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- If using cream cheese, beat until smooth and fold into the pudding mixture for extra richness.
- Fold in whipped topping until creamy and well blended.
- In a 9×13-inch dish or trifle bowl, layer cookies on the bottom, followed by pudding mixture, then a layer of sliced bananas.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding and cookies on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld and cookies to soften.
- Serve chilled, topped with extra whipped topping or crushed cookies if desired.
