Description

Brownie Bread is the perfect fusion of fudgy brownies and soft, moist bread. With its rich chocolate flavor and tender texture, this easy-to-make dessert is a chocolate lover’s dream. Quick to prepare and absolutely delicious, Brownie Bread is perfect for any occasion—whether served for breakfast, as a snack, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra gooeyness)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×4-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

  • Prepare the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  • Add the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. The batter will be thick.

  • Add the milk: Slowly add the milk, stirring until smooth and the batter reaches a slightly pourable consistency.

  • Add chocolate chips (optional): Fold in the chocolate chips for extra gooeyness.

  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.

  • Bake the bread: Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs. Cover loosely with foil if the top browns too quickly.

  • Cool and serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Add-ins: Add chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans) for added texture.Frosting: Drizzle with chocolate glaze or top with whipped cream for extra indulgence.Dairy-Free Option: Use dairy-free butter and milk for a dairy-free version.
