Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, toasted and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Toast the pecans in a dry skillet or oven until fragrant, then cool and chop.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, beating until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped toasted pecans.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are set and lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
