Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz) bag soft caramels (about 50–60 pieces)
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 24–30 large marshmallows
- 4–5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine caramels, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
- Stir frequently until the mixture is melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and allow the caramel to cool slightly for safer handling.
- Using a fork or skewer, dip each marshmallow into the caramel, coating it completely.
- Roll the coated marshmallow in a bowl of Rice Krispies cereal, pressing gently to help the cereal stick and form a ball.
- Place the finished balls on wax or parchment paper to cool and set.
- Once set, store in an airtight container at room temperature.
