Description

Caramel Marshmallow Rice Krispie Balls are chewy, no-bake treats made with gooey caramel, soft marshmallows, and crispy cereal. Perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you want a fun and indulgent snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) bag soft caramels (about 5060 pieces)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2430 large marshmallows
  • 45 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine caramels, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  2. Stir frequently until the mixture is melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and allow the caramel to cool slightly for safer handling.
  4. Using a fork or skewer, dip each marshmallow into the caramel, coating it completely.
  5. Roll the coated marshmallow in a bowl of Rice Krispies cereal, pressing gently to help the cereal stick and form a ball.
  6. Place the finished balls on wax or parchment paper to cool and set.
  7. Once set, store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

To prevent sticking, use wax paper and lightly butter your hands if shaping manually. For a festive touch, drizzle melted chocolate or use colored sprinkles.Let caramel cool just enough to avoid burning fingers but still be pliable for coating.Check labels for gluten-free ingredients if needed. Can be made ahead and stored for several days or frozen for longer storage.
