Description

Cheeseburger egg rolls are a crispy, savory fusion of classic cheeseburgers and crunchy egg rolls. Packed with seasoned beef, melty cheese, and tangy toppings, they’re perfect for parties, snacks, or game day.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cheddar or American cheese, shredded or cubed
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickles (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1012 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Oil for frying or brushing (if baking)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in ketchup, mustard, pickles (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 more minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Mix in shredded cheese.
  4. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface like a diamond. Add 2–3 tablespoons of filling near the center.
  5. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with beaten egg.
  6. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  7. To Fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry egg rolls for 3–4 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  8. To Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place egg rolls on a baking sheet, brush with oil, and bake for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes
