Ingredients
- For the Chipotle Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp chipotle chili powder (or smoked paprika for milder flavor)

- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder

For the Creamy Chipotle Sauce:
- 1/4 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp chipotle in adobo sauce (or 1 tsp chipotle powder)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Tacos:
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Sliced avocado (optional)
- Shredded cabbage or lettuce
- Sliced red onion
- Lime wedges
Instructions
- Marinate shrimp: In a bowl, combine olive oil, chipotle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), lime juice, salt, and pepper. Toss shrimp and let marinate 5-10 minutes.
- Prepare sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, chipotle in adobo, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning and set aside.
