Description

Ingredients

  • For the Chipotle Shrimp:
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

For the Creamy Chipotle Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp chipotle in adobo sauce (or 1 tsp chipotle powder)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Tacos:

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Sliced avocado (optional)
  • Shredded cabbage or lettuce
  • Sliced red onion
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Marinate shrimp: In a bowl, combine olive oil, chipotle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), lime juice, salt, and pepper. Toss shrimp and let marinate 5-10 minutes.
