Description

Chocolate fondue is a rich, velvety dessert made by melting chocolate with cream, perfect for dipping fruits, marshmallows, pound cake, and more. It’s quick, customizable, and ideal for sharing at gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped or in chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Dippables: strawberries, bananas, pineapple, marshmallows, pretzels, pound cake, cookies, etc.

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, warm the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.
  2. Add the chopped chocolate and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt if using.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a fondue pot or a heatproof bowl to keep warm.
