Ingredients
- 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Fit the pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan and crimp the edges as desired.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pecan halves until evenly combined.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. Cover edges with foil if they brown too quickly.
- Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack, about 2 hours, before slicing and serving.
