Description

Chocolate Pumpkin Tiramisu is a festive, no-bake Halloween dessert that layers espresso-soaked ladyfingers with a creamy pumpkin mascarpone filling, cocoa powder, and dark chocolate. It’s the perfect spooky twist on a classic Italian favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 package ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • 1/3 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate, shaved or chopped
  • Optional: Halloween sprinkles or themed candies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
  4. Quickly dip ladyfingers into the cooled espresso one at a time (do not oversoak).
  5. Layer dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a baking or trifle dish.
  6. Spread half of the pumpkin cream mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth the top.
  7. Sprinkle with shaved chocolate or dust with cocoa powder.
  8. Repeat with a second layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining pumpkin cream.
  9. Finish with a dusting of cocoa powder and more shaved chocolate.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  11. Before serving, add Halloween-themed decorations like candy eyes or sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Add a splash of coffee liqueur or dark rum to the espresso for a boozy twist.Use crushed Oreos and gummy worms for a spooky “graveyard” topping.Make individual servings in jars or cups for parties.Use whipped topping as a shortcut, but freshly whipped cream gives better texture.Mascarpone can be substituted with cream cheese, though flavor may vary.
