Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ cup milk

  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a cake pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, yogurt, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until combined.

  5. Pour in the milk and mix until a smooth batter forms.

  6. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.

  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
