Description

Churro Chex mix is a sweet and crunchy no-bake snack made with crispy Chex cereal coated in buttery cinnamon sugar. Perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you’re craving churros in a quick, shareable form.


Ingredients

  • 8 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved, then remove from heat and add vanilla.
  2. Place Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the butter-sugar mixture over the cereal and gently toss until evenly coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon together.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over coated cereal and toss until fully covered.
  6. Spread onto a baking sheet and let cool for 20 minutes before serving.
