Ingredients
- 8 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved, then remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Place Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the butter-sugar mixture over the cereal and gently toss until evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon together.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over coated cereal and toss until fully covered.
- Spread onto a baking sheet and let cool for 20 minutes before serving.
