Prepare the Baking Dish: Butter and lightly flour a 9×9-inch or 10×7-inch baking dish. Scatter the cherries and slivered almonds over the bottom of the dish.

Make the Batter: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined. Add salt and flour, mixing until smooth. Then whisk in the milk, almond extract, and vanilla extract.
