Description

Cranberry Baked Brie is a warm, elegant appetizer made with creamy Brie cheese wrapped in golden puff pastry, topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and optional nuts. It’s festive, easy to make, and perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheel of Brie cheese (about 8 oz)
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed if frozen
  • 1/3 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie wheel in the center of the pastry.
  4. Top the Brie with cranberry sauce and chopped nuts if using.
  5. Fold the pastry up over the Brie, pleating to seal.
  6. Flip the wrapped Brie so the seam is on the bottom and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush the pastry with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with herbs and drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired.
