Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for about 5–6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Simmer for a couple more minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
