Description

Creamy Chicken Bake is a comforting, oven-baked casserole made with tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich cream sauce and topped with melted cheese. It’s a cozy, fuss-free dinner perfect for weeknights or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella
  • 1 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place chicken breasts in the baking dish and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth. Spread over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
  5. If using, top with crushed crackers or breadcrumbs for crunch.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
