Description

Creamy Garlic Chicken is a quick and comforting one-skillet dish featuring tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich garlic-Parmesan cream sauce. It’s ready in under 30 minutes and perfect served over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 45 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil or butter. Add the chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, then stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Add Italian seasoning if using. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes to heat through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

  • For added flavor, deglaze the pan with a splash of white wine before adding cream.
