Ingredients
- 1 medium head green cabbage, sliced into strips or wedges
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the cabbage into strips or wedges.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add cabbage and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly browned and starting to soften.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to coat the cabbage.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10–15 minutes until cabbage is tender.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and fully combined into the sauce.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
