This easy-to-make salad is perfect for picnics, potlucks, or as a side dish to complement savory meals. It’s the ideal balance of textures and flavors, sure to be a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups seedless grapes (a mix of red and green grapes works well)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Prepare the Grapes:
Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly. Slice them in half if preferred, or leave them whole. Set aside in a large mixing bowl.

  • Make the Dressing:
In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  • Combine the Grapes and Dressing:
Pour the creamy dressing over the grapes and gently toss until the grapes are evenly coated with the dressing.

  • Prepare the Topping:
In a small bowl, combine the chopped pecans or walnuts with the brown sugar and a pinch of salt.

  • Assemble the Salad:
Sprinkle the nut mixture on top of the creamy grape salad.

  • Chill and Serve:
Chill the salad in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
