Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or 8 small pieces of chocolate bar
- Optional: 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional toppings: powdered sugar, melted chocolate, or slivered almonds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles along perforated lines.
- Place a few chocolate chips or a piece of chocolate near the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll each triangle up from the wide end to the tip, tucking the tip under to secure.
- Place croissants seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Optional: Brush lightly with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
