Crock pot steak and potatoes is a hearty, comforting slow-cooked meal with tender steak, flavorful potatoes, and savory seasonings. Perfect for busy days when you want a satisfying dinner with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs steak (sirloin, chuck, or round)
- 1.5 lbs baby potatoes or russet potatoes, cut into chunks
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season steak with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme or rosemary.
- (Optional) Heat a skillet with olive oil or butter and sear steak on both sides until browned.
- Place potatoes, onion, and garlic in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add seared steak on top.
- Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the steak and potatoes.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until steak is tender and potatoes are cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
