Description
Crumbl Cadbury Egg Cookies are rich, thick chocolate cookies packed with chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs and melty chocolate chips. Inspired by the popular Crumbl bakery, these festive treats are perfect for Easter or any time you crave a decadent, chocolatey dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks
- 1 cup Cadbury Mini Eggs, chopped
- Optional: extra whole Mini Eggs for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and chopped Cadbury Mini Eggs.
- Scoop 1/4 cup-sized portions of dough and place on the baking sheet, spacing well apart.
- Press a few extra Mini Eggs on top of each dough ball for a bakery-style finish.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are set and centers are still soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use Dutch-process cocoa for a richer flavor, or natural cocoa for a more classic chocolate taste.Stuff each cookie with a Cadbury Creme Egg for a gooey surprise center.Freeze dough balls and bake directly from frozen with 1–2 extra minutes.Use a gluten-free 1:1 flour blend for a gluten-free version.White chocolate chips can be swapped in for a flavor twist.
