Ingredients
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3–5 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
- Fresh berries (optional)
- Coconut whipped cream (optional)
- Chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a food processor or blender.
- Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, and almond milk.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa intensity if desired.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best texture.
