Description

A date shake is a naturally sweet and creamy drink made with Medjool dates, milk, and vanilla. This refreshing, energizing beverage is perfect for breakfast, a healthy snack, or a light dessert.


Ingredients

  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted (soaked if dry)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond, oat, or soy)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: 1/2 banana, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 scoop protein powder

Instructions

  1. If dates are firm, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain.
  2. Place dates, milk, vanilla extract, and ice cubes in a blender.
  3. Add any optional ingredients, such as banana or protein powder, if using.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust with more milk or ice for desired consistency.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
