Ingredients
- 6 Medjool dates, pitted (soaked if dry)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond, oat, or soy)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 to 1 cup ice cubes
- Optional: 1/2 banana, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 scoop protein powder
Instructions
- If dates are firm, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain.
- Place dates, milk, vanilla extract, and ice cubes in a blender.
- Add any optional ingredients, such as banana or protein powder, if using.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust with more milk or ice for desired consistency.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
