Description

Easter Crockpot Candy is a quick, simple, and decadent treat that’s perfect for Easter celebrations or any time you need a festive, sweet snack. The best part? It’s made in the slow cooker, so it’s virtually hands-off! This candy combines the smoothness of white chocolate, the crunch of pretzels, and the sweetness of Easter candies like pastel M&M’s. It’s a great no-bake treat for holiday parties, family gatherings, or as an easy gift.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (12 oz) white chocolate chips or white almond bark
  • 2 cups salted pretzels, broken into small pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups pastel M&M’s (or any candy-coated chocolate candies)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows (optional, for extra texture)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crockpot: Line your slow cooker with a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup, or lightly grease the inside with cooking spray.
  2. Melt the chocolate: Add the white chocolate chips (or white almond bark) into the crockpot. If using, also add the peanut butter for extra creaminess. Cover and cook on low for 1-1.5 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes to prevent burning and help the chocolate melt evenly.
  3. Add the mix-ins: Once the chocolate has melted and is smooth, stir in the broken pretzels, pastel M&M’s, and mini marshmallows (if using). Gently fold until everything is coated with the melted chocolate.
  4. Set the candy: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or wax paper. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon. Let the candy cool completely at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for faster setting.
  5. Serve: Once the candy has hardened, break it into pieces and serve! You can also store it in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, drizzle melted milk or dark chocolate over the cooled candy.Stir in chopped peanuts, almonds, or cashews for added crunch.Swap pastel M&M’s with other Easter candies like Reese’s Pieces or Jelly Beans.Add a teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract to the melted chocolate for extra flavor.
