Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup milk of choice (almond, oat, coconut, or dairy)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
- Add the milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup or honey (if using). Stir to combine.
- Stir in chia seeds, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly to prevent clumping.
- Cover the bowl or transfer the mixture to a jar with a lid.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until thickened.
- Stir well before serving. Top with sliced banana, granola, nuts, or toppings of your choice.
