Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted (divided)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 23 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (optional, for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add milk and 2 tbsp melted butter, stirring to form a soft dough.
  4. On a floured surface, roll dough into a rectangle.
  5. Brush with 2 tbsp melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll tightly into a log and slice into 8–10 rolls.
  7. Arrange rolls in prepared dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk for glaze (or mix cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar for frosting).
  9. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.
