Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 tbsp butter, melted (divided)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- 4 oz cream cheese (optional, for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add milk and 2 tbsp melted butter, stirring to form a soft dough.
- On a floured surface, roll dough into a rectangle.
- Brush with 2 tbsp melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into 8–10 rolls.
- Arrange rolls in prepared dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
- While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk for glaze (or mix cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar for frosting).
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.
