Description

Peach salsa is a vibrant, sweet-and-spicy condiment made with ripe peaches, crisp vegetables, fresh herbs, and lime juice. Perfect for summer meals, it pairs beautifully with grilled meats, tacos, or tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 3 fresh ripe peaches, peeled and finely diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, finely diced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced peaches, red bell pepper, red onion, and jalapeño.
  2. Stir in the chopped cilantro and freshly squeezed lime juice.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  5. Let the salsa rest for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add diced avocado before serving.Use nectarines or plums as a substitute for peaches. To reduce spice, omit or reduce the amount of jalapeño.Best served fresh but can be made a few hours ahead.Do not freeze, as the texture will be affected.
