Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
- 1/3 cup basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Pat salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread a generous spoonful of pesto over each fillet.
