Description

A fun and refreshing twist on classic sangria, this Easy Sparkling Sangria is made with crisp white wine, fresh fruit, and bubbly sparkling water for a light, fruity, and effervescent drink perfect for any festive occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle white wine (dry, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Chardonnay)
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 2 tbsp honey or simple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda (for fizz)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • Fresh mint (for garnish)
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher or bowl, add the orange slices, lemon slices, diced apple, and sliced strawberries.
  2. Pour the white wine, orange liqueur, and honey (or simple syrup) over the fruit. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours (or overnight) to allow the fruit to infuse the wine and flavors to meld.
  4. Right before serving, pour the sparkling water or club soda into the sangria. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Fill glasses with ice (optional) and pour the sangria over. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color.

Notes

Swap the white wine for red wine (like Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon) for a richer sangria.Experiment with tropical fruits like pineapples or mangoes for a fun twist.Use sparkling wine or champagne for a more luxurious and bubbly experience.Add lime slices or a splash of grapefruit juice for an extra citrusy flavor.FOR a spicy touch, add a few slices of fresh jalapeño or a pinch of cayenne.
