Description

Fresh Avocado Salsa is a vibrant, chunky dip made with creamy avocado, juicy tomatoes, red onion, and zesty lime. Perfect as a dip or topping, this refreshing salsa is packed with fresh flavor and ready in minutes.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, diced
  • 1 cup roma or cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 1/3 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped (optional, seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and dice the flesh into chunks. Place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Dice the tomatoes and red onion and add to the bowl with the avocado.
  3. Finely chop the jalapeño (if using) and cilantro, then add to the mixture.
  4. Squeeze in the fresh lime juice.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Gently toss everything together until well combined, being careful not to mash the avocado.
  7. Serve immediately or chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.
