Description

Frozen Grapes Marinated in Wine are a refreshing, boozy snack where sweet grapes soak up wine’s flavor before being frozen for a juicy, chilled bite. Perfect for parties, warm days, or a light after-dinner treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups seedless grapes (red, green, or mixed)
  • 2 cups white wine, rosé, or red wine
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (optional, for coating)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the grapes thoroughly.
  2. Place grapes in a large bowl or container.
  3. Pour wine over the grapes until they are fully submerged.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for a stronger flavor.
  5. Drain the grapes, reserving the wine if desired for drinking.
  6. If using sugar, roll the drained grapes in it for a frosted look and extra sweetness.
  7. Arrange grapes in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze until firm, about 2–3 hours.
  8. Serve immediately from the freezer.

Notes

Use sweeter wines for a sweeter finished snack.Marinating overnight intensifies flavor.Best enjoyed frozen; thawing will make grapes mushy.Reserved wine will have a fruity infusion—serve chilled.
