Description

Fudgy Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies are chewy, brownie-like cookies made with just a handful of ingredients. Using boxed cake mix as a shortcut, these cookies deliver rich chocolate flavor with minimal effort, making them perfect for last-minute desserts, bake sales, or quick cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix (devil’s food or chocolate fudge preferred)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks (optional)
  • Optional add-ins: chopped nuts, white chocolate chips, M&Ms, or peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, eggs, and oil. Mix until a thick dough forms.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips or desired mix-ins.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough, roll into balls, and place on prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
