Description

Garlic Butter Steak Bites are tender, juicy pieces of steak seared to perfection and cooked in a rich, flavorful garlic butter sauce. Perfect for a quick meal or as an appetizer, these steak bites are sure to impress.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak (or any preferred cut like ribeye, flank, or tenderloin)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter (use unsalted for better control over seasoning)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or fresh thyme, if preferred)
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary (or fresh rosemary, if preferred)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)
  • Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak: Pat the steak dry with paper towels and cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak and set aside.
  3. Make the garlic butter sauce: Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Stir for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Combine steak and sauce: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter sauce for 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve: Transfer to a plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with rice, quinoa, or your favorite sides.

Notes

Spicy Version: Add red pepper flakes or sliced jalapeños to the garlic butter sauce for an extra kick.Vegetables: Add mushrooms, bell peppers, or onions to the skillet for more flavor and texture.Cheesy Version: Top with grated Parmesan or mozzarella for a cheesy, savory finish.
