Description

Gâteau au Nutella is a rich, decadent French cake that combines the creamy, indulgent flavor of Nutella with a moist, fluffy cake base. Simple to make and irresistibly delicious, it’s perfect for Nutella lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Nutella
  1. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  2. ½ cup sugar
  3. 3 large eggs
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  6. ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  7. ½ cup milk
  8. A pinch of salt
  9. Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, Nutella, and sugar until light and creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar, if desired, before serving.
