Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs, divided
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until a thick dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish to form the crust.

  8. Let the cake cool completely before slicing. It will set more as it cools.
