Instructions
-
Mix the Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, feta, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, avoiding overmixing. -
Form Patties:
Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than the buns, as they will shrink while cooking. -
Cook:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, or preheat grill to medium-high. Cook patties 5–6 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F. -
Prepare Buns:
Lightly toast burger buns or warm pita bread if desired. -
Assemble:
Place patties on buns or inside pita. Top with tomato, cucumber, red onion, lettuce, and a generous spoonful of tzatziki sauce. -
Serve:
Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
Do not overmix the turkey to keep burgers tender.Grated zucchini (excess moisture squeezed out) adds extra juiciness.Add cumin or paprika for deeper flavor. For a low-carb option, serve over a Greek salad or in lettuce wraps.Store toppings separately for best texture.
