Description

These Greek Turkey Burgers are juicy, herb-packed patties made with lean ground turkey, garlic, oregano, and tangy feta cheese. Served with fresh vegetables and creamy tzatziki, Greek Turkey Burgers offer a lighter Mediterranean twist on the classic burger—perfect for grilling season or easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

For the Burgers:

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For Serving:

  • 4 burger buns or pita bread

  • Sliced tomato

  • Sliced cucumber

  • Red onion slices

  • Lettuce

  • Tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  • Mix the Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, feta, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, avoiding overmixing.

  • Form Patties:
Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than the buns, as they will shrink while cooking.

  • Cook:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, or preheat grill to medium-high. Cook patties 5–6 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  • Prepare Buns:
Lightly toast burger buns or warm pita bread if desired.

  • Assemble:
Place patties on buns or inside pita. Top with tomato, cucumber, red onion, lettuce, and a generous spoonful of tzatziki sauce.

  • Serve:
    Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Do not overmix the turkey to keep burgers tender.Grated zucchini (excess moisture squeezed out) adds extra juiciness.Add cumin or paprika for deeper flavor. For a low-carb option, serve over a Greek salad or in lettuce wraps.Store toppings separately for best texture.
