Description

Grilled Lamb Chops are a juicy and flavorful dish made by marinating tender lamb chops in a blend of herbs, garlic, and lemon juice, then grilling them to perfection. With a seared crust and succulent interior, they’re ideal for both casual meals and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 8 lamb chops (rib or loin)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, rosemary or thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Rub the marinade over the lamb chops and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the lamb chops for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting for desired doneness.
  5. Remove from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Let the meat come to room temperature before grilling for even cooking.Use a meat thermometer to check doneness (130–135°F for medium-rare).Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.Great served with couscous, roasted veggies, or a Greek salad.Avoid microwaving leftovers to prevent drying out.
