Description

Halloween Mummy Rice Krispies are a spooky and fun no-bake treat made with marshmallows, Rice Krispies cereal, and white chocolate. Decorated with candy eyes and chocolate ‘bandages’, they’re perfect for Halloween parties and kid-friendly activities.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 24 candy eyes
  • Non-stick spray or butter (for greasing pan and hands)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch pan with non-stick spray or butter and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Add mini marshmallows and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan using greased hands or a spatula. Let cool completely.
  6. Once set, cut into 12 rectangular bars.
  7. Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  8. Drizzle melted chocolate over each bar using a piping bag or spoon to resemble mummy bandages.
  9. While the chocolate is still soft, gently press two candy eyes onto each bar.
  10. Let the chocolate set completely at room temperature before serving or storing.

Notes

Use Cocoa Krispies for a chocolatey twist.Add a few tablespoons of peanut butter for extra flavor.Color the white chocolate with food coloring for fun bandage colors.Cut into mini bite-sized pieces for party trays.Mix in sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or crushed cookies for added texture.
