Description

Heaven on Earth Cake is a refreshing, no-bake dessert with layers of angel food cake, creamy vanilla pudding, and sweet fruit, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • For the cake:
  • 1 store-bought angel food cake (or homemade, if preferred)
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (5.1 oz) box of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk. Let the pudding set for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture to create a light, fluffy texture.
  3. Slice the angel food cake into bite-sized pieces and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Evenly spread the pudding mixture over the cake, ensuring it is fully covered. Top with drained crushed pineapple.
  5. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, for the flavors to meld and the cake to soak up the pudding.
  6. Before serving, garnish with shredded coconut and chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For a berry version, replace the pineapple with fresh strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries. For a chocolate twist, use chocolate pudding mix and top with chocolate shavings or chips.Top with caramel sauce and chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts for an extra layer of flavor. For a tropical twist, use coconut milk in place of regular milk and top with toasted coconut.
