Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2–4 tbsp buttermilk (or milk with lemon juice), to desired consistency
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp onion powder (optional)
- 1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and sour cream (or Greek yogurt) until smooth.
- Stir in the buttermilk a little at a time until the dressing reaches your desired consistency.
- Add vinegar or lemon juice, garlic powder or minced garlic, and onion powder (if using). Mix well.
- Gently fold in the blue cheese crumbles, leaving some chunks for texture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.
