Ingredients
- 3–4 cups bread (day-old or slightly stale, cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (parsley, oregano, or thyme – optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut bread into evenly sized 1-inch cubes.
- Place cubes in a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter and toss to coat evenly.
- Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, herbs, and parmesan (if using). Toss well.
- Spread bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Remove when golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool completely before serving or storing.
