Ingredients

½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons water

1–2 shots espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)

1 cup milk of choice

1 cup ice cubes
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar (or honey), and water.

Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, gently mashing the blueberries until the mixture slightly thickens.

Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove solids. Let it cool completely.

Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.

Add 1–2 tablespoons of blueberry syrup to the bottom of the glass.

Pour milk over the ice, leaving room at the top.
