Description

Iced Blueberry Latte is a refreshing and vibrant coffee drink made with homemade blueberry syrup, bold espresso, creamy milk, and ice. This easy iced blueberry latte recipe combines fruity sweetness with rich coffee flavor, creating a beautifully layered beverage that’s perfect for warm days or when you want a unique twist on your daily iced latte.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 1–2 shots espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar (or honey), and water.

  • Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, gently mashing the blueberries until the mixture slightly thickens.

  • Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove solids. Let it cool completely.

  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.

  • Add 1–2 tablespoons of blueberry syrup to the bottom of the glass.

  • Pour milk over the ice, leaving room at the top.

  • Slowly pour freshly brewed espresso over the milk to create a layered effect.

  • Stir before drinking and adjust sweetness if needed.

Notes

Adjust syrup quantity based on your desired sweetness. For a stronger coffee flavor, add an extra espresso shot.Pour espresso slowly over the back of a spoon for a distinct layered look.Blueberry syrup can be made ahead and stored chilled.Whole milk creates the creamiest texture, but plant-based milks work well.
