Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 3 cups water or milk (or a combination)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Sweeteners like maple syrup or brown sugar (optional, to taste)
  • Toppings such as fruit, nuts, seeds, cinnamon, or nut butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add steel cut oats, water (or milk), and a pinch of salt (if using) into the Instant Pot.
  2. Stir gently to combine and secure the lid.
  3. Set the valve to the sealing position and cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
  4. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Carefully open the lid, stir the oats to combine any separated liquid, and let them sit for a few minutes to thicken.
  6. Serve warm with your desired toppings.
